Catch the early deadline for the AAFF by August 15th and submit your film for only $30. Our standard deadline is October 15th for $40 and the late deadline is November 15th.
We're looking for new independent films of all lengths and genres that are: artistically inspired, lovingly crafted, cutting edge, bold visions.
If you're submitting a film, please help us reduce waste with our green submissions initiative:
• If sending DVD, use a paper slip case, not a hard plastic one
• Ship in a stiff cardboard or other recyclable mailer with no bubble wrap
• Print "Do Not Bend" on the front of envelope
• No press kits of any kind - these will be immediately recycled

Metacafe, one of the world’s largest video entertainment sites with 30 million unique visitors per month, and Microcinema International, a leading international exhibitor and specialty markets distributor of the "moving image arts,” are teaming to create and curate MetaFest 2008.
MetaFest 2008 is a juried short-film festival that combines the best of the on- and off-line worlds.
MetaFest accepts films 10 minutes or less in length - animated, narrative, humorous, artistic, dramatic, documentary, mockumentary, music, experimental, alternative or avant-garde in any genre, format or style. There are no entry fees and multiple submissions are encouraged.
