Astral Media the Harold Greenberg fund/Le Fonds Harold Greenberg is a national private funding agency established by the movie Network and Astral media to contribute to the creation of quality Canadian movies.
The English Language Program (The Fund), with contributions from the movie Network and Viewers Choice, provides reimbursable financial assistance for the development and production of feature films. The French-Language Program
(Le Fonds), with contributions from Astral Media and Super Écran provides reimbursable financial assistance for the production of feature films, as well as music-related special events and programs. Since December 2007, Le Fonds Harold Greenberg has also administered the MaxFACT Funding Program which, with contributions from MusiMax, finances the production of music videos. Both english and French-Language Programs play a vital role in supporting film and television production in Canada. They are proud to present quintessentially Canadian stories.
