Thank you to everyone who joined us for On Screen Manitoba's Annual General Meeting at the The District on Tuesday! For those of you who weren't able to attend please keep an eye out for the IN FOCUS Newsletter which will include a review of the AGM including a copy of our Year in Review and presentation of the new sustainability plan for the industry.
A note from your Executive Director, Tara Walker:
"A heartfelt thank-you to every member who attended the AGM and holiday party on Tuesday (in –30 weather!). Many thanks as well to all of those who ran for seats on the Board. It is very gratifying to have so many excellent candidates interested in serving On Screen Manitoba’s Board!
A warm welcome to our new Board members – Lisa Meeches, Brendon Sawatzky and Jean LaRose – and to those returning to the Board - I look forward to working with you on realizing our ambitious plans for the industry!
A personal thank-you to Melissa Kajpust and Kyle Irving for their years of service to the organization and assistance to me and the staff. Your contributions have made a difference to the association.
During the AGM, Kim Todd let the members know she would not be running for Chair of the Board this year but will continue to serve us on the Board as Past Chair. In a tribute Kim was recognized for her strong leadership and incredible contribution of time and energy to OSM over the last four years. We are a stronger organization because of her efforts!
