Job Summary
• Liaise with representatives of the film and television industry to identify training needs.
• Liaise with representatives of the film and television industry to identify training needs.
• Develop training strategies in conjunction with labour organization training committees and departments.
• Coordinate and deliver workshops as per training needs and strategies.
• Recruit suitable trainers and instructors and provide support during training activities.
• Provide career counseling to FTM trainees.
• Manage and report on program budget.
• Supervise program staff.
• Evaluate training activities with trainees, trainers, and instructors.
• Report on training activities for funders and for FTM (website, newsletter).
• Collect program statistics on training activities.
• Create program materials (for brochures, website).
• Participate in outreach activities (monthly information sessions, career fairs, trade shows) as needed.
Employment Conditions
• This is a full-time position.
• The Training Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director and works within a team environment.
• Salary range: $30,000 – $36,000 per annum.
• Computer environment: Macintosh, Microsoft Office Suite.
