I'm thrilled to see all of the support we've received thus far in our February donation drive, moving towards our target of $10,000 raised by February 29 to help support the Winnipeg Film Group and our Cinematheque!

I'd like to take the opportunity to personally thank all of the people and companies that have contributed to date, bringing us so much closer to our goal.

With February 29 just over a week away, I am asking you to consider a donation to our lovewfg.com campaign, if you have not already donated.

We're asking 300 more friends to consider donating $25, or more if you are able.

Since 1974, the WFG has been promoting the art of cinema locally with a variety of programs and services. Along the way, we’ve supported the development of countless filmmakers through all stages of their careers, and we’ve developed our Cinematheque into a much-loved programming series to bring the very best in independent Canadian and world cinema to local audiences.

But it does take a community to sustain this organization, from volunteers working at all levels, to audiences and filmmakers accessing our programs and services on an ongoing basis, to the funding bodies that support our work in developing and promoting the art form, right through to the important financial support of our donors.
