14 month term position: July 3, 2012 – August 30, 2013

The Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation, provides Manitobans with a vital and living place for the enjoyment of artistic and cultural entertainment through the administration of the Centennial Concert Hall as well as the maintenance and development of the buildings and properties of the Centennial Centre. The Corporation is also responsible for the management of the Manitoba Production Centre, Manitoba's only furnished sound stage. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Board of Directors and the management team.

Key duties include:

Prepares all client rental contracts and related documentation
Coordinates tenant lease renewals
Acts as liaison regarding legal matters
Organizes Board and management meetings and takes and prepares minutes
Coordinates and prepares monthly newsletter
Composes and prepares external correspondence
Arranges servicing of the mail machine and photocopiers
Manages the phone system and may be required to use Venus and Crestron marquee and monitor software
Organizes and orders supplies
Provides reception relief
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in office administration preferably acting as an Executive Assistant
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task (in cooperation with the team) in a fast paced environment
Organization skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Experience using Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
