Source: Radio Canada International

Radio Canada International is looking for new talent and invites all Canadian university and college students to send in a short film for Radio Canada International’s RCI Vision Website.

Deadline: May 31, 2012

Whatever your university program, become part of Radio Canada International’s World Filmmaker showcase as RCI Vision expands its film repertory with your participation in the Cultural Crossroads project.

Make this part of your university work or feel free to send in something you produced a while ago. As long as your film, fits the theme. Thirty minutes (30) is the maximum length allowed. Your film can take the form of a television report, a documentary, a work of fiction, an experimental or narrative piece; it can even be a personal and introspective work. The screen is yours!

Airing and broadcasting of your work

Your film will be selected to be aired on the rcinet.ca/vision website and the best works will be regrouped to be presented in a nationwide event. RCI Vision is unique in its mandate and favors short works. RCI Vision’s selection of short films have also been shown on affiliated television stations, at world film festivals, and in Canadian museums, schools, colleges, and universities.
Send in your 30 minute (or less) short film (excluding credits) by May 31st 2012 or sooner!

It can be produced in a language other than English or French as long as it is subtitled in one of the two. You can submit as many films as you like, as long if they as they fit the theme and length criteria and have been produced within the three (4) past years. Any questions? RCI Vision’s team is ready to hear from you!
