Posted: May 17, 2012 SAM VINT UPDATE ON NSI NEW VOICES TRAINING

Source: National Screen Institute
The following article was written by the National Screen Institute's Sam Vint about the progress of the NSI New Voices training program.
For the eighth year in a row the NSI New Voices course opened with a pipe ceremony and traditional feast conducted by Elder Collin Mousseau at the NSI offices at the end of April 2012.
Our NSI New Voices course is different from most of the other courses offered at NSI for several reasons not the least of which is the spiritual component.
As always the competition was highly contested for the nine spots we offer, this years students are; Cheyenne Bruneau, Rodney Contois, Honey Courchene, Dakota Eischen, Jesse Frechette, Deanna Mace, Dennis Seenie, Adam Wildeman and Stanley Wood.
