CALL FOR ENTRIES
(Feature length fiction films only)
Telefilm Canada will coordinate three (3) consolidated shipments of Canadian films from Montréal to Venice to the three (3) distinct sections of the Venice Film Festival: Official Mostra, Venice Days and the Venice Critics’ Week.
Deadline with Telefilm Canada: June 15, 2012

Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica
Three of the four Festival sections are open to Canadian productions: Venezia 69 (International Competition), Out of Competition and Orizzonti.
Venice Days
Parallel to, and independent from the 69th Venice Film Festival, Venice Days (“Giornate degli Autori”) is organized by the National Association of Filmmakers (ANAC), and by the authors of “Associazione 100 autori”.
Venice Critics’ Week
A competitive section organized by the National Syndicate of Italian Critics that presents only seven (7) first features in competition and one (1) or two (2) film out of competition.
“Luigi De Laurentiis” Award for a Debut Film
Each debut feature film selected in one of the sections of the Venice Festival (Official Mostra, Venice Days or The Critics’ week) is eligible for the "Luigi De Laurentiis" Venice Award, a USD 100,000 cash award divided between the director and producer.
