As a charitable, not-for-profit cultural organization, GFF has always depended on the generosity of our diverse team of volunteers. We are grateful for the considerable contributions made by our volunteers every year and know that we could not launch this Festival without their dedication and support. If you want to join a devoted team of vibrant, fun-loving film enthusiasts, please consider joining the GFF team as we set out to transform the way people see the world!

Volunteers donate their valuable time to help make the Gimli Film Festival a thriving environment for independent filmmakers to share their stories. Together we’re creating a place and a platform for independent film to reach beyond the shores of Lake Winnipeg. Volunteers will be involved in site management, box office, guest services, hospitality and venue preparation. If you are interested, please download an application form or apply online.

Volunteers can choose to attend a Volunteer Orientation session on either Thursday, July 12 or Thursday, July 19 (7pm) in the Lady of the Lake Theatre at the Waterfront Centre.
