OS X Lion Support Essentials is a three-day, hands-on course that provides an in-depth exploration of troubleshooting on OS X Lion. This course is designed to give you a tour of the breadth of functionality of OS X Lion and the best methods for effectively supporting users of OS X Lion systems. The course is a combination of lectures and hands-on case study exercises that provide practical real-world experience.

Performing Arts at Red Deer College provides hands-on training and career development for aspiring artists, technicians, filmmakers, musicians and creators. The programs have a well-deserved reputation as a leader in program innovation, exploration and excellence.

On Screen Manitoba is opening a new French class for beginners, taught by a professional teacher from the Alliance Française. The class will be held on Fridays from 12 to 1 p.m. at the OSM office (003-100 Arthur St.) starting on November 18 for a 20-week period. The fee is $185.00 per person (including GST + workbook). 

The 12 week Voice-Over Course begins on  Thursday December 1st at The Actors’ Training Centre of Manitoba.

The Basic Filmmaking Workshop is a series of workshops held over a five-week period during evenings and some weekends, and provides an intensive introduction to all aspects of independent filmmaking.

It is now our third year running "Beat to Tweet" training over the summer. It's an excellent opportunity to dive into the latest social media waters and discover how to launch and/or improve your social media expertise.

Our Trainer, Lloyd Hanneson @dasme, will once again guide us through the morning on Monday, July 25, 2011, and share with you the tools to become a social media maven via Facebook and Twitter. Program Guidelines for Youth Participants

APPLICATION DEADLINE is FRIDAY, January 14, 2011

Open to Youth aged 16 -19 years old. Program runs from Feb. 9 - May 4, 2011.

Role of Youth Participants:
All selected youth will need to commit to attending all sessions, as follows:

Every Wednesday, from 6 to 8 pm, from Feb. 9 until May 5. (no session Wed. March 30 -spring break) All day Saturday, April 16, and Sunday, April 17, for film shoot.
The last Wednesday evening, May 4, will be a viewing of the finished product. Families of participants are welcome.
