Join us for a workshop demonstrating the different methods and techniques used in this rich and inventive animation medium. The first half of the workshop will feature discussion on the technical aspects and limitations to animating in stop-motion. You will have hands on experience animating a scene, and character. We will touch on some of the available stop-motion animation software tools, and how they may be used.

The Actors Training Centre is once again launching its 12 week Voice-Over course in cooperation with DACAPO Productions for all of you budding voice actors!

You need to build an app, and you need it to run everywhere. And you need it now! jQuery Mobile gives you the ability to write once and run everywhere using jQuery and jQuery UI.

Actors spend many years learning a process based on a universal understanding of dramatic scene structure. A good actor knows how to find drama and character in the text and bring it to life on stage and screen. This workshop is designed to give writers and directors a clearer understanding of the actor’s process. This will enhance your ability to collaborate, by communicating effectively with actors and providing a strong dramatic foundation for their work.

Voice & Speech is a 12-week course from September 27th to December 13th 2012, every Thursday evenings from 7 PM to 10 PM with Tom Soarses.

Audition applications are now being accepted for the Academy of Acting's full-time college program, which begins September 17 and runs through June 2013.
