PROGRAMS COORDINATOR JOB POSTING
ON SCREEN MANITOBA is looking for a personable, detail-oriented multi-tasker to fill the key team position of Programs Coordinator for the Manitoba Music & Motion Pictures Development Project (M3P). The successful candidate will be able to work independently and within a team of equally passionate colleagues. The Programs Coordinator will serve our membership by administering ON SCREEN MANITOBA’s support programs and will have the opportunity to play a key role at a crucial and exciting time in ON SCREEN MANITOBA’s development. RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Programs Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Association’s programming and a few special projects.

Winnipeg -- Freeze Frame, International Film Festival for Kids of All Ages, celebrated rising young Canadian filmmakers at the Wee Reels and Reel Views 2008 Video Contest Awards Gala on March 17, 2008. Now in its ninth year, the youth video competition attracted over one hundred entries in the Wee Reels category (for grades 8 and under) and over 50 in the Reel Views category (for grades 9-12). The two juries, comprised of six industry professionals selected the winning videos from over 50 finalists. Prizes for the different awards were generously donated by a number of local organizations, including On Screen Manitoba, Radio-Canada, Manitoba Public Insurance, the National Film Board of Canada, Frantic Films, and Manitoba Theatre for Young People.
Freeze Frame runs until March 22, 2008.
