Producer Networking Event

On Screen Manitoba, in partnership with MNP, is bringing together Manitoba producers for an informal evening of conversation and connection.

This gathering will create space for producers to discuss current industry dynamics and opportunities for continued collaboration across Manitoba’s media production industry. The goal is to encourage open dialogue, share perspectives, and strengthen relationships within the producing community.

During the evening, the On Screen Manitoba Producer Committee co-chairs will provide a brief update on the committee’s current priorities and areas of focus.

We will also be joined by special guests from Manitoba Film and Music, who will share a short update on their Strategic Plan, including:

• Upcoming modifications to film financing programs

• Opportunities for industry feedback

• Insights from the labour market environmental scan

• Next steps for a sector-wide workforce development strategy

This informal gathering offers producers a chance to stay informed, strengthen industry connections, and contribute to ongoing conversations about the future of Manitoba’s media production industry.
