Join Story Money Impact for two free, in-person sessions in Winnipeg that show how documentary film can be used as a tool for strategy, engagement, and impact. Learn how films are being used across Canada to engage classrooms, civic groups and communities—and how you can apply these strategies to your work.

Morning Session | Docs for Community: A Session for Organizations & Creators
9:30–11:30 a.m. | Light lunch to follow (11:30–12:15)
Learn how screenings can be used to support public dialogue, community learning and engagement. With examples from more than 2,500 partners across Canada, this session shares strategies for designing meaningful film-based events.

Afternoon Session | Making Impactful Content: A Session for Creators
1:00–3:30 p.m. | Light refreshments provided
Explore how to design content that inspires action, connects with audiences, and moves beyond traditional distribution models. For creators seeking to align storytelling with social purpose.

Bonus: One-on-One Meetings for Doc Filmmakers
Filmmakers attending can request a 30–45 minute meeting with Anthony Truong Swan on Tuesday, July 22 to discuss project ideas or impact strategy.
