What you’ll learn

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Recognize subtle and overt forms of sexual harassment

  • Understand how power dynamics and workplace culture affect intervention

  • Identify barriers that stop people from stepping in

  • Explore intervention techniques suited to different personalities and contexts

  • Understand how trauma influences responses

  • Prioritize safety for everyone when intervening

What to expect

The workshop runs 3.5 hours, including a break. It is interactive, but participation is optional. Because the session addresses preventing sexualized violence, some content is heavier. The facilitator will use a trauma-informed approach to create a safe and respectful learning environment.

A certificate of participation will be provided.

Note: This training was previously offered in November 2023 with a different provider.
